I apologize for the boringness of these photos, compared to what I have just sent along to Hud! :) Get ready for Spring '99 Banquet party action, baby!
And, these new S'News offices are absolutely beautiful, spectacular and everything else, (after all, they have a freaking receptionist for the receptionist) but they lack a certain charm (and filthiness) that was 343 Student Services.

Can anyone imagine Pat Muir picking me up and throwing me across the room here to test the phrase "I don't trust him as far as I can throw him" in this place?

Actually there IS a sex couch. But it's brand new and off in another little room with a bunch of other chairs. WEIRD.
There's honestly a room for everything - a lunch room (which means no more eating at the desks-Marty forbids it and they must have cups with tops on them to even have stuff to drink in the newsroom), THE ENC'S OFFICE, Dwight's office, Perry's office, Marty's huge-ass office complete with "bay window" and then some looking out into Grand River, advertising area, production, web-master's office, assistant production manager's office, the conference room, the photo room and photo studio complete with dressing room left over from the Gap. Oh yeah, and the newsroom too. And security cameras for the newsroom secretary/receptionist. Of course, before anyone gets to them, they first see the receptionist out front.
SHEESH! I'm sure I'm even forgetting something or somethings.
But, the new ENC told us she hates it most that there's NO FRONT ROOM AND BACK ROOM ANYMORE! The travesty.
And they're going to have a NEWS TICKER on the outside of the building soon. A news ticker!!!
Actually when I write it all out it doesn't seem like much more than what was in Student Services. But trust me, it IS!
And I forgot the business office.
actually, i heard the times square-like news ticker is just rumor right now. (would the city really approve that right off the bad traffic that is grand river?)
